Some examples of the challenges we can help you overcome

  • Process Management

Making sure that the work people do delivers the required result, remove wasteful effort, and ensure people have the tools and training necessary to work effectively.

  • Data Management

Gain confidence in your management information, remove painful wasteful reconciliations & get your valuable data clean, understood and aligned across your business.

  • Project Management

Delivery of projects and programmes through deep engagement with stakeholders, good clear planning, strong leadership and open communication.

  • Business Ownership

Business ownership means exactly that, it’s about taking responsibility, and dedicating time to making sure things work properly. We’ll show you how to make this a reality.

Some of our successes

Although operating out of London, we have worked extensively with clients around the globe, including teams in Belgium, France, Greece, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Japan, the US and Canada.

  • Entity simplification

The assessment of a large portfolio of 'small' legal entities to identify candidates for merger, liquidation or other treatment, with the aim of simplifying the operating structure and reducing management cost. Candidate entities were scored against a tailored matrix. Worked alongside finance and tax specialists, to test the feasibility of each proposal before handing over to legal counsel to carry out the agreed changes.

  • The new normal

Following a significant merger, delivered a suite of legal entity consolidation projects across Europe and in Japan. Harmonised employee compensation and benefits, and led teams through a review of policies, processes and procedures; then through to implementation. Submitted for and tracked licences and certificates and maintained business compliance with the authorities in each country.

  • Global roll-out

Designed and implemented a global business dashboarding tool, serving a user base of approximately 650 people. Resulted in the removal of regional variation, established common working practices, and eliminated data inconsistencies and wasteful reconciliations.

  • Regulatory readiness

Led the development of specialist project teams to prepare for the introduction of the EU Medical Device Regulation, with a particular focus on Economic Operators and EUDAMED, and on building the team and governance models around them. Managed successfully within a complex matrix organisation operating in a highly regulated vertical.

  • International integration

Delivered the successful integration of two organisations following an acquisition, across Western Europe and Canada. Leading a team of six project managers, ensured business functions were ready for the transition, from back-office teams to operational units, including specialised and large-scale manufacturing sites. Developed a playbook and, after that first successful delivery, coached the other programme directors for future successful close-outs.

Biopharma separation - Poland

Responsible for delivering all ‘in country’ activities to de-merge a biopharmaceutical organisation in Poland. Scope definition, planning and milestones development done in collaboration with stakeholders, and executed against them, all within an evolving legislative and regulatory environment that needed strong action and mitigation planning.

Business functions and IT systems were successfully separated, under Transitional Service Agreements, with no interruption to either operation, measured through continued excellent levels of customer service. Throughout, The Process House demonstrated strong engagement and leadership with local and remote teams comprised of senior leadership, functional heads and third parties.

Mark is an outstanding project manager with a high degree of independence and excellent ability to manage cross functional teams. Mark is detailed in his approach without losing the bigger picture as well as staying focused on the key priorities needed to deliver a successful close of a project. He is also a very quick learner who gets quickly up to speed on specific issues regardless of them being financial, IT, regulatory or legal in nature.

Equally important as Mark’s technical ability to deliver a project is his highly developed set of people skills. He brings a genuinely positive attitude which creates strong and productive teams. He is also a strong influence on team members, which enhances individual performance and reduces cross functional tension.

Knowing Mark’s ability to deliver and that project team members truly enjoy working with him, I am very happy to recommend Mark’s work.
